Adult Catechesis

We will beginning our fall series on September 25th. Our series, The Mass, will detail what exactly happens during each part of the Catholic Mass, why we do or say certain things, and the biblical context for the Mass! 

Our series will occur every other Wednesday night in Farrell Hall. We will meet at 6:30 for an optional meal followed by instruction by Fr. Rusty from 7:00-8:00 pm. Meals are $5. 

The series dates are: September 25th, October 9th, October 23rd, November 6th, November 20th, and December 4th.

The women of our church are active in various ministries and community groups, such as Ladies Auxiliary and the Hospitality Committee. 

The Ladies Auxiliary is a women's group that works alongside the Knights of Columbus to improve the parish and the community through charity. Meetings are once a month on Thursdays. If you are interested in joining, please contact the president, Beverly Piazza at 601-831-2779.

The Hospitality Committee is responsible for cooking and serving meals for our First Friday luncheons, funerals, or other parish events. If you have a heart for fine cuisine and would like to get involved, please contact Patty Watts at 318-574-2301.



Men enjoy monthly fellowship opportunities through the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that focuses on serving the community and the parish. Meetings are on Tuesdays at 7:30 to pray the Rosary, followed by a business meeting at 8:00! If you are interested in joining, please contact Charles Hahn at, or visit their website at
