Children

Grades K-7

We welcome and encourage active participation of children in the Church as a progression toward sainthood!

Due to the suspension of public Masses for the time being, we cannot have Children's Church at St. Paul's. However, we have uploaded the bulletins so that your child can still enjoy the Sunday Mass readings from home!

Please click here to print the monthly bulletin that the Children's Church leaders hand out.

Parish School of Religion

Parish School of Religion (PSR) classes takes place at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Vicksburg. Please contact the parish office at 601-636-0140 if your child is in need of religious education classes.

Children's Church

Children's Church is an opportunity for children who have not yet made their First Communion to spend time with the Scriptures during the 10:30 Sunday Mass. Adult leaders in the parish help children to understand what God is telling His people in the weekend's readings. If you would like to volunteer as a leader, please contact Jordan Amborn at jordan.amborn@gmail.com

Opportunities to Serve

We warmly welcome any child who has received his or her First Communion to serve as an altar server during mass. If your child is interested, please call Lynne Abraham at the parish at 601-636-0140.

Child Protection

St. Paul, in accordance with the Catholic Diocese of Jackson, is committed to ensuring that children served by the church are not at risk of sexual abuse by the Church personnel. Diocesan policies and procedures currently in place seek to protect, enhance and, in some cases, restore the trust that our faith calls for between agents of the Church and the children and adolescents entrusted to our care.

"Children are the most beautiful gift and blessing that the Creator has given to man and woman. Children are never a mistake."

- Pope Francis
